Guwahati police arrested murder accused from Delhi

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati police nabbed Raju Das, the main accused in the recent gruesome murder case at Patarkuchi in the city, from Delhi on Tuesday.

Police sources said that arrest was made by a team from the Basistha police station.

It may be recalled that the body of an E-rickshaw driver named Pujon Dey was recovered from a locked room in a semi-decomposed state from Tengakhal near Patarkuchi here on June 19.

However, suspicion fell on Das, who used to stay with the victim but was not seen since about three days prior to the discovery of the body.
