Guwahati Police issued transfer order for OC of Satgaon PS

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police issued an official transfer order for the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Satgaon Police Station on Saturday.

According to the official sources, Inspector (UB) Sandip Kumar Kanu, OC of the Satgaon Police Station, has been transferred to the Crime Branch of the Guwahati Police Commissionerate. Further, Inspector (UB) Hitesh Basumatary of the Crime Branch has been transferred and will take the new charge as the Satgaon OC with immediate effect.

As per order stated, “In the interest of public service, the following Inspectors (UB) of the Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, are transferred and posted as shown against each of their names with immediate effect. Inspector (UB) Sandip Kr. Kanu, Officer-in-Charge, Satgaon P.S., Central Police District, Guwahati, is transferred and posted to Crime Branch, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati. Inspector (UB) Hitesh Basumatary, Crime Branch, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, is transferred and posted to Satgaon PS as Officer-in-Charge. They will join their new places of posting immediately.”
