Guwahati Refinery celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

GUWAHATI: As a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', an initiative of Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements, Minister of State, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Ministry of Labour & Employment, Rameswar Teli felicitated 75 citizens of Kamrup, who have contributed significantly to the society, in the presence of ED&Refinery head, SP Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, Teli congratulated the awardees for their significant contribution made by them. Teli spoke about the various steps taken by the Ministry of Petroleum in the country and in the State of Assam. He also spoke about the intiative taken by the Labor ministry for the security of the workers of the organized and unorganized sector, including e-sram card, stated a press release.
