Guwahati to Bengaluru Direct Flight Makes "Priority Landing" in Kolkata

GUWAHATI: A direct flight from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati to Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru was diverted to Kolkata for a priority landing on February 9.

According to reports, an IndiGo flight 6E- 291, Guwahati to Bengaluru, was diverted to Kolkata after a caution message was observed by the pilot.

Meanwhile, standard operating procedures were followed and the aircraft landed at Kolkata safely.

Further, the passengers on-board was later accommodated on another aircraft for their onward journey to Bengaluru.

Currently, the aircraft is currently under inspection. Notably, as advised to ATC it was a priority landing and not an emergency landing.
