Guwahati: One Arrested from Pilingkata with Narcotics

GUWAHATI: A team from Basistha Police Station under the East Guwahati Police district raided a hideout of a suspected narcotics peddler on Tuesday. The team was able to arrest one Alom Ali from Gohpur during this operation undertaken at Pilingkata. They were also able to recover 97.52 grams of heroin, 72 vials, 1 mobile phone and Rs 1320 in cash from the accused. A case has been registered and legal action has been initiated regarding this matter.
