Guwahati: Hari Bora, a prominent educationist who made a deep impact on the students of the renowned Don Bosco School in Guwahati has passed away in the early hours of the morning on Tuesday (July 21). He was 83.

According to media reports, the educationist had been admitted to a Guwahati hospital in February of this year due to ailing health. Bora for several years taught the Assamese language to the students of the Don Bosco school (founded in February 1948) and retired in the year 1996.

The former Don Bosco Guwahati teacher's last rites shall be performed at the Navagraha Crematorium in the city. The death of Hari Bora, who spent much of his life imparting knowledge to young and impressionable minds, is being mourned deeply by the host of relatives and well-wishers he has left behind.
