Hatigaon Police arrested one for forgery

GUWAHATI: Hatigaon Police arrested Susanta Baruah -- the alleged accused in a forgery case -- from Torajan in Jorhat in the night of Wednesday. In this connection, a case – 917/21 U/S 120 (B)/420/406/468/419) – was registered in the Hatigaon Police Station, here.

The accused has been brought to Guwahati. Baruah had fraudulently taken a loan of Rs 67 lakhs in the name of the complainant by forging signatures. Mentionably, there are many cases registered against Baruah in Panbazar Police Station, the BI(EO), Assam and also the CBI.
