Hold special TET: All Assam Sanyogi Siksha Karmi Union teachers

GUWAHATI: On the eve of the meeting of the TET (Teachers' Eligibility Test) empowered committee to be held on Friday, the All Assam Sanyogi Siksha Karmi Union (AASSKU) has appealed to the committee to take the final decision on holding a special TET for the SanyogiSikshaKarmis.

In a statement issued to the media on Thursday, the AASSKU appealed to the Education department to relax the upper age limit of Sanyogi teachers by five years. "This apart, 30 marks grace should be given for sanyogi teachers and other eligible SSA employees working for at least two years. The experience certificates of such teachers should be affixed with their applications."
