HRDFSK distributes essential items among needy people under BPL, SC & ST

GUWAHATI: Human Resource Development Foundation of South Kamrup (HRDFSK) has taken an initiative to help around 500 needy people who are under BPL, SC, ST and disabled category. The Foundation distributed essential items such as masks, sanitizers, soaps, and food items to these people. The HRDFSK also organized an awareness program on COVID-19. It distributed leaflets, visited door-to-door and displayed posters in public places.

Executive secretary of the Foundation Anand Kumar Das praised the frontline COVID workers such as health department, police, reporters who are working 24x7 for the people. The Foundation also felicitated workers from the health department and distributed masks and sanitizers among the police personnel.

On Monday, the Foundation held a public meeting at the Palasbari Revenue Circle Office, and distributed masks and sanitizers to the employees of the circle office in the presence of ADC and Circle Officer, Rashmi Baruah Gogoi.
