The examinations will conclude on February 29. According the SEBA (Board of Secondary Education, Assam), there are 860 centres where the examinations will go on. Besides installing CCTV cameras in all the examination centres, a few examination centres will have jammar machines installed. No students and invigilators are allowed to carry mobile phones or any other electronic devices to the examination halls. If any student resorts to misconduct, he/she may face rustication up to three years, based on the enormity of the offence. From this year, sealed packets of question papers will have to be unsealed by an invigilator in front of the students, and the invigilator and at least two of the students have to sign in the relevant register certifying that the question papers were found ok. CM Sarbananda Sonowal has congratulated the students who are going to take the examinations. He expressed his hope that these students will bring laurels to their guardians, educational institutions and society.
