Huge ganja haul, five peddlers arrested in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Acting on a tip-off, the police on Sunday night conducted a raid at two rooms of the Sumiya Hotel at Paltanbazar here and seized 59.700 kg of ganja, while also arresting four men and a woman in this connection. Police sources said that all five peddlers – Munir Hussain, Saiful Basa, Sahida Khatun, Anowar Hussain and Rakesh Debnath - are from the Sipaijala district of Tripura.
