Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship observes Vigilance Awareness Week

GUWAHATI: The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) as per the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commision (CVC) observed Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme 'Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat' (Vigilant India, Prosperous India) from October 27 to November 2. Observance of Vigilance week every year is part of the multi-pronged approach of the Central Vigilance Commission where a key strategy is to implement the policy of 'Zero Tolerance against Corruption.'

The IIE conducted various activities to create awareness among all the stakeholders, employees to promote and uphold ethical values, since corruption is one of the major obstacles for the overall development of the country. Workshops/sensitization programme on preventive vigilance measures, essay writings, quiz competition for employees was held during the week. Integrity pledge by officials and employees was also held as a part of the programme, stated a release.
