Indrani Tahbildar’s suicide case: Assam Police registers two separate cases

GUWAHATI: With each passing day, the list of suspects in Indrani Tahbildar’s viral photo case is increasing day by day. In a new development, two people identified as Sanjib Sarma and Kapil Talukdar was interrogated by the Chandmari Police on Monday.

According to sources, Chandmari police registered two cases in this regard. A case number (318/23) has been registered in connection with the leak and spreading of the incriminating pictures of Indrani Tahbildar, which ultimately led to her committing suicide. Another case (325/23) has been lodged to investigate the exchange of money involved in the matter.

According to sources, another accused, Abhimanyu Das, in the suicide case the police have been not able to trace the person.
