GUWAHATI: Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Anand Mishra has been attached to the Assam Police headquarters in Guwahati till he is relieved from his services after acceptance of his resignation. He was serving as the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Assam’s Lakhimpur district. A notification issued by the Home (A) Department mentioned that Anand Mishra, who was serving as the SP Lakhimpur, has been attached to the headquarters until he is relieved from the Indian Police Service after formal acceptance of his resignation. Aparna N, who is currently serving as the principal of Lachit Barphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, has been transferred and posted as the superintendent of police for the Lakhimpur district.
