Kamalpur Police arrested duo for dacoity in Guwahati

Guwahati: Kamalpur Police on Tuesday arrested two people in connection to a looting incident that took place at a rented apartment in Kendukona, on Monday. The accused have been identified as Harendra Mahato and Rajib Kumar; both are natives of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar but were residing in Kendukona. The police have recovered the looted money i.e.Rs. 3,50000 from the accused’s possession and a case has been registered at Kamalpur PS under case no. 34/2020 U/S 394 IPC. Further investigation is underway.
