Kamrup (M) DC asks companies to improve mobile phone networks

GUWAHATI: In view of poor mobile phone network service being provided by various service-provider companies in recent times in the district, Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha on Wednesday held a meeting with officials of the companies concerned and asked them to take expeditious remedial measures in this regard. The officials who met the Deputy Commissioner included representatives of Airtel, Vodafone, Jio etc. Jha emphasized at the meeting that it is very important to provide proper communication facilities to the public.

He asked the telecom company officials to let him know in writing within three days about any problem being faced by them, which is hampering the mobile phone networks in the district.
