Karbi magazine titled "Karbi Birta" released in Sukafa Bhaban, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Karbi (Mikir) Welfare Society inaugurated the first Karbi dual month news magazine named "Karbi Birta" at the Sukafa Bhaban here on Saturday.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Arindom Prince Panging — Chief Advisor AITSAA; noted writers Sarala Katharpi, and Giridhar Ronghang; Bhubaneswar Ingti professor D.I.E.T; Mahendra Ronghang — general secretary Bangthe Ashem; Thakur Ronghang from Karbi Adarbar; Dilip Taro — vice President KDC; Sunil Kumar Teron — AITSAA president; Paresh Ronghang — EM Tiwa Council.

The meeting also thanked Ronjit Rahang (Chairman of Karbi Development Council out side Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao)and president of KMWS and his entire team members for their contribution to the endeavour, stated a press release.
