Krishna Kanta Handique Varsity To Hold International Meet

GUWAHATI: Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University is organizing a two-day International Conference on the topic ‘Livelihood Issues in Developing Countries—Role of ODL’ on December 20-21, 2019 at NEDFi Convention Centre in Guwahati. Prof Asha Kanwar, President and CEO of Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver Canada has already given her consent to deliver the keynote address. Dr Melinda DP Bandalaria, Chancellor, Philippines Open University and President of Asian Association of Open Universities and the Vice Chancellors of leading Open Universities of India would be present in the Conference as panelists, discussants and guests of honor. The University has requested for submission of papers from the academicians and development practitioners on various subthemes of the conference. The last date of submission of Abstracts is June 30, 2019.
