Local holiday declared on March 8 on account of Dol Jatra or Holi

GUWAHATI: On account of Dol Jatra or Holi, the Governor of Assam has declared a local holiday on March 8 in Kamrup (M). All the state government offices and educational institutions within Kamrup (M) district will remain closed. All financial institutions within Kamrup (M) under Section 25 of the N.I. Act, 1881 (XXIV of 1881), will also remain closed on account of this local holiday.
