Man held for uploading Assamese movie ‘Ratnakar’ online

GUWAHATI: The Geetanagar Police on Saturday held a person for uploading the Assamese movie ‘Ratnakar’ on YouTube, from Silapathar area in Dhemaji district. As per reports, the police acted based on an FIR lodged at Geetanagar Police Station by actor Jatin Bora. A case (36/2020) has been registered against the accused who have been identified as Johan Doley. He was presented before the court on Sunday and was later sent to judicial custody.
