Man run over by train at Kamakhya-Jogighopa railway line

GUWAHATI: In a piteous incident reported at the Kamakhya-Jogighopa railway line at Bongara, a man succumbed to death being hit by a train while trying to cross the railway track.

According to sources, Borjhar out post police rushed to the spot and retrieved the body of the deceased. The police are investigating the case, and are trying to identify the body. The body of the deceased has been sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). And it is suspected that the person is a local resident.
