Maneswar Brahma Painting Exhibition At Assam State Museum

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Museum in collaboration with Pragjyotish Centre for Cultural Research has organized an exhibition titled ‘Unceremonial’ with notable prints of Maneswar Brahma. The national curatorial solo exhibition curated by Amit Mukhapadhaya was opened on March 27, 2019 at the Assam State Museum. The exhibition has given public a chance to discover and rediscover the art pieces of Maneswar Brahma which reflects the practice of contemporary printmakers of Assam. It has been informed by the museum authority that in response to the success of the exhibition, it has been extended until April 10, 2019. An artist-led exhibition walk-through will also be conducted on April 5 in the premises of Assam State Museum.
