Mech Kachari Jatiya Parishad, Assam (MKJPA) demands Autonomous Council

GUWAHATI: The Mech Kachari Jatiya Parishad, Assam (MKJPA) has expressed disappointment at the State Cabinet taking no decision for an autonomous council for the Mech community of the State.

In a press meet, MKJPA joint general secretary Subir Mech raised the demand for an autonomous council for the Mech in the State, failing which they will resort to agitation.
