Meeting takes stock of welfare projects in State at Kamrup (M) DC office

GUWAHATI: The District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee on Tuesday held a meeting through video conferencing at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup (M) to take stock of the various welfare projects in the State.

The meeting was attended by MP Queen Oja, Kamrup Metro DC Biswajit Pegu, and representatives from various departments including Irrigation, Fishery, Handloom, Social Welfare, Health, Forest, GMC, and Food and Civil Supplies.

According to reports, discussions were held to utilize the various schemes introduced by both the Central and State governments. Through video conferencing Oja discussed about the developmental works of the Fishery, Education, Health, and Social Welfare departments. She directed the representatives to work on the implementation of the schemes within the respective deadlines.
