Miscreants looted Rs 2.50 lakh in Kamrup district

GUWAHATI: Kishor Kumar Sarma of Goromchung village in Kamrup district lodged an FIR at Panbazar police station here on Sunday stating that miscreants looted Rs 2.50 lakh from his father, Sonatan Deva Sarma, on Saturday.

According to the FIR, Sarma withdrew Rs 2.50 lakh from SBI, Panbazar on Saturday. However, some miscreants looted the amount and left him at Lalganesh from where some local people found him unconscious. He has been admitted to a private hospital.
