Mystery shrouds death of bride at Ananda Nagar in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The mystery shrouds the death of a bride at Ananda Nagar under Noonmati Police Station. Lipika Khatun died of burn injuries this morning.

According to an FIR filed by Lipika Khatun's mother Ashmina Begum at Noonmati Police station, she doubted that her son-in-law Nabijul Haque set her daughter Lipika afire for dowry. A case (732/20 u/s 304(b)/34 IPC) has been registered in this connection. The police arrested Nabijul.
