GUWAHATI: A digital campaign was launched by the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the students' wing of the Congress, on Sunday in Guwahati. This month-long digital campaign will focus on the infrastructure of the schools and colleges of Assam which were in deplorable condition.

Addressing the media on Sunday, NSUI State president Krishanu Baruah said, "80 per cent of schools and colleges in the State were developed during the Congress regime. The present BJP-led government only upgraded the schools and colleges of the city areas to make it catchy during the election time. On the other hand, most of the schools and colleges in village areas are in a deplorable condition."

"Through this month-long campaign we will show the real face of the BJP government in front of the people," Baruah added.

Baruah further said, "The BJP has destroyed the educational system of Assam. They have no idea as to the educational system in the State will be executed."

The NSUI urged the people to send video footages of schools and colleges which are in deplorable condition in their respective areas in their WhatsApp number-8822470883 to bring the real face of the BJP in front of the people.
