NDRF, Guwahati extend helping hands to street dogs during lockdown

GUWHATI: The personnel of 1st Battalion National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Guwahati under supervision of Deputy Commandant (Veterinary) Dr. Tej Bahadur Singh fed the street dogs, which are facing starvation due to the countrywide lockdown following coronavirus emergency. The street dogs are completely dependent on humans for survival.

The rescuers of NDRF offered benevolent service in Borbari, VIP Road, Six Miles, Khanapara, Jaynagar, Beltola area Guwahati and fed more than 150 street dogs that are without food due to the lockdown. NDRF rescuers coordinated with "Puppy Rescue Crew Foundation" and fondly carried out this benevolent act of service applauded by all.
