Nominations filed for Gauhati Commerce College students' union polls
Candidates contesting in the students’ union elections of Gauhati Commerce College (GCC) filed their nominations today.

GUWAHATI: Candidates contesting in the students' union elections of Gauhati Commerce College (GCC) filed their nominations today.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP)-backed four candidates won the elections unopposed. They are president Parthajit Talukdar, general secretary Subham Bhattarai, Girls' Common Room secretary Riya Brahma, and Music Secretary Samiron Dutta. Out 13 nominations, nine were found invalid as the candidates had less than 75 per cent attendance. Re-election is expected to be done soon.
