GUWAHATI: Berry White Incorporation proudly announced launch of N95 Masks in North Eastern India from their fully-automated state-of-the-art Manufacturing facility in Brahmaputra Industrial Park, Guwahati. Berry White Inc. is a young entrepreneurial business venture started by young entrepreneur Ravi Pasari during the pandemic which has affected millions and especially in North Eastern India during the last few months.

It is the first plant in the Northeast set up keeping in mind vision & mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for "Make In India" and "Vocal for Local" Initiative.

Pasari said the company is currently employing over 30 people directly and more than 100 people Indirectly on a regular basis generating employment during COVID-19. The company is being operated by 100 per cent local skilled & unskilled labourers. They have trained local unskilled Labourers at Amingaon for handling high-end automated machines adding to their skill sets and plans to develop convert more people into skilled operations in a few months. Women empowerment has also been an initiative taken by the company where they are given equal employment opportunities and play a crucial role in day-to-day operations of the company. The company also plans to conduct CSR activities for the underprivileged section of the society near their vicinity area. With an installed capacity of 50,000 units a day, vision and aim of the company is to provide a safer and cheaper N95 masks with 6 layers for the people of Assam and the north-eastern region.

With innovative designing and packaging the customers can choose from an assortment of colours – white, grey & blue – and future plans of the company are to launch Colourful N95 Fabric Masks in the coming months and is targeting export to SAARC countries, a press release said.
