Northeast Frontier Railway to celebrate Vigilance Awareness Week, 2021

GUWAHATI: The Vigilance Awareness Week will be celebrated throughout Northeast Frontier Railway from October 26 to November 1, 2021. The theme for this year is 'Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity'.

During the Vigilance Awareness Week, various programmes will be held across NF Railway to create awareness amongst the Railway employees and general public. The programmes include administering Integrity Pledge to all the employees of NF Railway at Headquarters and Divisions on October 26 to bring about integrity and transparency in all spheres of activities and also to work unstintingly for eradication of corruption in all spheres of life, stated a press release.

As part of observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week, pamphlets/handouts on preventive vigilance activities will be distributed to create awareness. Sangosthi on topic 'Independent India @ 75: Self Reliance with Integrity' and interactive session through webinar with officers of all department will be organized. Essay writing and drawing competition in Railway Training Centres amongst the student of various schools, Nukkad Nataks (street play) by Railway employees will be organized to spread awareness. A vigilance bulletin will also be released on this occasion.

The nation is also celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence. As part of this celebration, 75 vigilance seminars with officers of all the divisions covering all departments will be organized by the Vigilance Organization for system improvement.
