Nurse commits suicide in North Guwahati; doctor, two nurses arrested

GUWAHATI: A nurse at Guwahati Neurological Research Centre (GNRC) in North Guwahati committed suicide on Thursday.

On the basis of the nurse's suicide note, the police apprehended a doctor and two nurses on Saturday.

The apprehended doctor is Shovna Rao, and the two nurses are Nivedita Nath and Shehnaz Akhtar.

According to sources, the victim's family has not yet filed an FIR in connection with the incident. The hospital administration informed the police of the incident. The police registered a suo moto case and started preliminary investigations.
