Paltanbazar Police Arrested Three in Hatigaon For Loot Case

GUWAHATI: Three boys from Baithalangshu on their way to Bangalore on Friday, enquired an auto-rickshaw driver in Guwahati railway station, if he knew about a room where they could rest awhile. The driver took the boys to a room in Hatigaon where they were robbed of their belongings, including Rs 9000. Paltanbazar police made three arrests in this regard on Saturday. The auto driver, another man and a woman from whom Rs 1100 was recovered, were arrested on Saturday. A case (1251/19 U/S 395/397) has been registered against them.
