Personnel Department of Assam Government Reshuffle its Various Administrative Officers

GUWAHATI: The Personnel Department of the Assam government has carried out a reshuffle of various administrative officers.

According to the Department, Umananda Doley, Secretary to the Government of Assam, Guwahati Development Department (GDD) has been relieved from the additional charge of CEO (Chief Executive Officer), GMDA (Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority).

Adil Khan, Commissioner of Transport, Assam and State Project Director, Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society has been posted as MD (Managing Director), AIDC (Assam Industrial Development Corporation) as an additional charge.

Oinam Sarankumar Singh, Commissioner, Industries and Commerce has been relieved from the additional charge of MD, AIDC. He has been posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department as an additional charge.

Abhijit Baruah, MD, Guwahati Jal Board and Secretary to the Government of Assam, GDD and MD, Guwahati Smart City Ltd has been transferred and substantively posted as Secretary to the Government of Assam, GDD. Kausar Jamil Hilaly, Additional Secretary to the Government of Assam, Industries & Commerce Department has been transferred and posted as CEO, GMDA.

Additionally, the services of S. Sunder, Divisional Forest Officer, Haltugaon has been placed at the disposal of the Guwahati Development Department for posting him as the MD of Guwahati Smart City Ltd.

Similarly, the services of Khagesh Pegu, Divisional Forest Officer, Golaghat are placed at the disposal of the GDD for posting him as MD, Guwahati Jal Board.
