PHE Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass takes stock of JJM projects

GUWAHATI: Public Health Engineering (PHE) Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass chaired a review meeting via video conference along with Jal Jeevan Mission's (JJM) Chairpersons, deputy commissioners and other officials of every district in Assam, to take stock of the development of the ongoing projects under JJM.

During the meeting, Dass asked the JJM officials to report about the number of water-pipe connections per day in a district. He urged them to promote and create awareness about JJM benefits through PRIs.

He also instructed them to hold meetings with the contractors in the presence of PHE engineers to discuss problems and ways to complete projects.
