GUWAHATI,: The Pratibondhi Suraksha Sangstha, Assam (PSSA) has alleged that the State government has hatched a conspiracy to deprive differently-abled people of their 4 per cent reserved posts in any recruitment in the State. PSSA secretary Nripen Malakar has said that on July 15, 2020 the Assam Police Recruitment Board published an advertisement for the filling up of 225 posts in Transport and Inland Water Transport departments. "However, the advertisement has no provision for the mandatory four per cent reservation for differently-abled candidates. A conspiracy has been hatched by the State government to deprive differently-abled candidates. We demand immediate rectification of the advertisement, failing which we'll resort to agitation," Malakar said.
