GUWAHATI: The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) has constituted a team to inspect the bio-medical waste management facilities in the Hospitals dedicated for treatment of COVID-19 patients in Kamrup (Metro). The team will also inspect quarantine centres as well as train up the staff engaged in collection and handling of Biomedical waste.
The PCBA team constitutes – Sr Environmental Engineer Gokul Bhuyan, Assistant Engineers Jagat Deka and Dipraj Ardao. The first phase of the inspection will be carried out on Wednesday and Thursday.
