Prakash Rajkonwar Was In Touch With Paresh Baruah: Guwahati Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar

GUWAHATI: Prakash Rajknowar alias Chao Nam Te Lao, who was brought to Guwahati from Dibrugarh, had directly kept in touch with ULFA ‘c-in-c’ Paresh Baruah and the accused of the recent grenade attack in Guwahati. He was produced before the CJM Court on Monday. The court remanded him to seven-day police custody. Guwahati Police Commissioner Deepak Kumar said: “He has been in touch with Paresh Baruah since 2017. Overground people of the ULFA recruit youth to the outfit, besides spreading its ideology.”
