Press Information Bureau, Guwahati organized webinar on vaccination awareness

GUWAHATI: An efficacious COVID-19 Vaccination involves effective communication with timely information dissemination on Vaccine to tackle any hesitancy, experts said in a Webinar organized by the Press Information Bureau, Guwahati on "FAQs for information dissemination and awareness to tackle Vaccine Hesitancy" here on Thursday.

Medical experts along with academicians deliberated and discussed COVID-19 vaccination process and its awareness from medical, psychological, academic, societal and policy perspective.

Padma Shri Naresh Chander Lal, Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Andamaan and Nicobar Islands said with optimism that this is an achievement of scientific fraternity that a vaccine for COVID-19 is a solution to tackle the virus. He said that many are affected by economic, social, emotional, psychological effects because of the COVID scenario. He said that people and particularly, the youth have to lead others in this vaccination endeavour. He said whether it is businesses, social and cultural sectors, education, institutions, trade and commerce, markets or industries have been affected by this Covid scenario, so it is the responsibility of all citizens to lead in this scenario to a normalcy which would encourage growth, development and prosperity of the country.
