Publicity campaign for special summary revision of electoral rolls

GUWAHATI: Following directions of the Election Department, the district administration will conduct a publicity campaign for special summary revision of the draft photo electoral roll of Kamrup Metro Election District.

The campaign will be conducted on November 28-29 and December 5-6.

In this regard, a meeting chaired by Kamrup Metro Election Officer Jharna Patgiri was held at DC conference hall on Wednesday.

Representatives of various political parties were present at the meeting where Patgiri briefed them about the special summary revision process. The base year for the voter list for the special summary revision will be 01/01/2021.

Recently, the Draft Photo Electoral Rolls of Kamrup Metro Jalukbari LAC, Dispur LAC, Guwahati West and Guwahati East were published.

On January 15, 2021 the entire voter list of the constituencies will be released.
