Reimbursement scam: Bhangagarh Police issue notices to 39 government employees

GUWAHATI: The Bhangagarh Police has issued notices to 39 government employees allegedly involved in the medical reimbursement scam. They have been asked to come to the police station for interrogation within three days.

The State-level Referral Board, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) had detected a scam related to medical reimbursement of government employees. In this connection, the GMCH authority had lodged FIRs against 39 government employees. These employees had allegedly submitted fake medical referral certificates to get the benefit of medical reimbursement.
