Reshuffle of Bureaucrats in Personnel Department of Government of Assam

GUWAHATI: Following notifications from the Governor of Assam, the Personnel Department of the Government of Assam reshuffled the posts of some bureaucrats, on Saturday.

According to this notifcation, Manjit Sonowal — Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, GAD (General Administration Department) and OSD (Officer On Special Duty) — is transferred and posted as the Deputy Resident Commissioner at Assam House, Shillong. N, Anand, Chief Conservative of Forests is "partially placed" as the Managing Director of Assam Mineral development Corporation Ltd. while Nandita Dutta has been relieved from the same post. Ananda Kumar Das has replaced Ikramul Hussain, as the Director of Geology & Mining, Assam. Sujit Baglary — Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup — is posted as the Joint Secretary of Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar.
