GUWAHATI: The Railway Protection Force (RPF), along with staff members, recovered a blue trolley inside coach number C7 of the Vande Bharat Express at Platform Number 2 at Guwahati Railway Station on October 1. According to sources, on opening the trolley, liquid cash of Rs 50,000, all in the denomination of Rs 500, along with garments and cosmetics, were found. However, the details of the owner were uncertain, so it was kept at the railway station. On Wednesday, one man named as M.K. Rajak, and a woman named Somdatta Chatterjee claimed to be the owner of the trolley. After proper verification, the trolley with the cash was handed over to the owners.
