RTI activist Dulal Bora arrested by Crime Branch department

GUWAHATI: RTI activist Dulal Bora was arrested by the Crime Branch department on Tuesday, for allegedly blackmailing a person over the phone. The victim, Iftikar Ali has registered a case at the Basistha Police Station under case number – 13/2020. According to reports, Ali has provided call recordings to the police, which he recorded while Bora was blackmailing him. The police are now examining the recording and the further investigation is on.
