Satgaon Police Station submerged under floodwater, shifted to Satgaon High School

GUWAHATI: The Satgaon Police Station has been submerged under flood water following which its office has been temporally shifted to Satgaon High School.

It is to be noted that out of the total 34 personnel of the station, 26 have been tested positive for COVID-19. Thus, only 8 personnel are on duty at the police station (PS).

Sources from the Police Station said that the personnel facing a lot of difficulties due to the lack of manpower. "It is a difficult task for eight policemen to handle a station. Adding to our worries, many documents were under water when the station was submerged," said a source.
