School bus driver arrested for drug peddling in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A drug peddler named Nitumoni Kalita was on Tuesday caught red-handed with drugs by the public of Krishnanagar in the city. The angry public handed him over to Chandmari police station. Police seized 0.57 gm heroin, three vials, a syringe and a mobile phone from his possession.

Police sources said that Kalita worked as bus driver in a private school while also dealing in drugs. What has raised an alarm among the people is the fact that this drugs peddler used to drive a school bus.
