Scores of artistes join State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

GUWAHATI: Around 1,300 artistes joined the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at a programme held at the SrimantaSankaradevaKalakshetra on Sunday. Addressing the new joinees, CM Sonowal said, "To boost Assam globally, we should avoid conflicts and focus on coordination. For this we need to get rid of negative energy with positive energy. We need to work together with determination to make Assam the country's model State."
