See Lists Here: Re-shuffle in Assam Police

Guwahati: In a major re-shuffle in the Assam Police department, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, Ranjan Bhuyan has been transferred and posted as Asst. Inspector General of Police (R), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati against existing vacancy with effect from the date of taking over charge.

Similarly, senior ranking police official Pratap Sinha, commandant 6th APBn, Kathal, Silchar has been transferred and posted as Commandant 15th AP(IR) Bn, Eraligool, Karimganj vice Sanjib Sekhar Roy has been transferred with effect from the date of taking over charge.

It may also be mentioned that Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ) Majuli, Leena Doley has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (CID), Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati.

Officer Leena Doley is also allowed to hold the charge post in the rank of Superintendent of Police/Comdt/DCP/AIGP vice Superintendent of Polcie, Panindra Kr Nath who has been transferred with immediate effect from the date of taking over charge.

It may be mentioned that Panindra Kr Nath has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Human Rights Commission, Assam, Guwahati vice Jayanta Choudhury who has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd APTF Bn in Lumding.

Furthermore, there were around 25 senior ranking police officials who were posted and transferred by the Government of Assam.
