SSB 1st Battalion organizes half-marathon to promote "Har Ghar Tiranga"

SONAPUR: 1st Battalion SSB Sonapur and its companies organized a half-marathon run to promote the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign under the Aegis of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" in Kamrup (M), Udalguri & Darrang districts covering a total distance of 110 km. Around 230 SSB personnel, including Mahila soldiers, youths & civilians participated in the run holding National Flag in their hands with pride carrying a message to promote mass hoisting of the National Flag at their homes from 13 to 15 August 2022.

A Hemochandra, Commandant of 1 Battalion SSB, Sonapur, flagged off the run at its Headquarters, a press release said.
