Stolen Vehicle Recovered, 2 Held By East Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Hatigaon Police Station recovered a stolen Tata Sumo vehicle on Wednesday and arrested two persons with the assistance of the Mizoram Police.

According to police sources, the vehicle was reported to have been stolen from the Mazar area here and it was located while it was en route to Mizoram. In another incident, an EGPD team from the same police station prevented an attempt to steal a motorcycle from Sewali Path in the Hatigaon area on Thursday. The two-wheeler was handed over to the rightful owner.
